Tom Morello wants you to form your own Rage Against the Machine

ABC/Randy HolmesTom Morello has a message for people waiting for a Rage Against the Machine comeback: start your own band.

In a recent radio interview, Morello said that there was “no news” regarding the political rap-metal outfit, and those who were inspired by their message shouldn’t “wait around” for them to come back, and instead should form their own group. He then clarified his comments on his Twitter.

“What I REALLY said was ‘please stop asking me about RATM in an effort to grab ‘no news’ click bait pull quotes, instead form your own damn band if you’re so eager,” he wrote.

While you’re working on that, Morello’s solo tour in support of his new album, The Atlas Underground, heads to the U.K. this weekend. Additionally, his band Prophets of Rage, which also features RATM members Tim Commerford and Brad Wilk, has been working on new music.
