Hole “definitely talking” about reunion, says Courtney Love

ABC/Lorenzo BevilaquaHole is “definitely talking” about reuniting, according to Courtney Love.

The “Celebrity Skin” singer revealed the news in an interview with The Guardian, during which she was asked whether Hole might get back together to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the band’s platinum-certified 1994 album, Live Through This.

“We are definitely talking about it,” Love declared.

“There’s nothing wrong with honoring your past,” she added. “I’ve just kind of discovered that. If you don’t, people will rewrite history and you will become an inconvenient woman.”

Hole officially broke up in 2002. In 2012, the band’s classic lineup — Love, guitarist Eric Erlandson, bassist Melissa Auf der Maur and drummer Patty Schemel — reunited for a brief two-song performance. Most recently, Love and Auf der Maur took the stage together last October.
