Sebastian Bach announces 30th anniversary “Skid Row” tour

Atlantic RecordsSebastian Bach may not be in Skid Row anymore, but the band’s former frontman is taking their debut album on the road in honor of its 30th anniversary.

Bach has announced a North American tour, during which he’ll be performing 1989’s Skid Row in its entirety. The album features the tracks “18 and Life,” “Youth Gone Wild” and “I Remember You.”

The trek kicks off August 29 in Nashville and will wrap November 2 in Pinellas Park, Florida.  Tickets go on sale this Friday, June 7 via SebastianBach.com.

“In 1989 we put out the first record Skid Row,” Bach says in a statement. “Thirty years later, people still dig the music we created in a garage all those years ago.”

“It’s going to be fun to do something that has never been done live before!” he adds of the tour. “We are looking forward to seeing you all for this one time event! Note: This concert is 100% live in every way! All real! All the time! No tapes! No fakes!”

“Come and see a real rock band while they still exist!” the statement continues. “We give it to you straight from the heart ‘cuz that’s the only way we know how! See you on the road!”

Bach joined Skid Row in 1987, but left the band in 1996. Since then, the group has continued with a number of different singers. The current Skid Row vocalist is ZP Theart.
