“I was recently sworn in as a Reserve Police Officer of the Rockport, Indiana Police Department by city Mayor Gay Ann Harney,” Spencer writes in a Instagram post, alongside a photo of him in his new uniform.

He continues, “It’s an honor to be able to come back to this area when I can and serve the community as a reserve police officer and help out my brothers.”

After missing out on Death Punch’s tour last fall due to health issues, Spencer officially left the band this past December. The group has since recruited Charlie Engen to play drums.

In the comments section of Spencer’s post, one fan asked if there’s “any chance” of him returning to Five Finger. Spencer simply replied, “No.”
