Report: Rammstein frontman accused of assault following altercation at German hotel

Isa Foltin/WireImageRammstein frontman Till Lindemann is reportedly being accused of assault after an altercation that allegedly took place in a Munich hotel bar.

According to a German newspaper, the incident took place Saturday at the Bayerischer Hof hotel, just prior to Rammstein’s show in Munich. The report states that after a man allegedly insulted the woman who was with Lindemann, the musician struck the man in the face, causing him to bleed.

Lindemann reportedly left the scene before the police arrived, and the victim filed for assault.

A U.S. rep for Rammstein offered no comment to ABC Radio.

Rammstein released their new, untitled album in May. It’s the band’s first record in 10 years.
