Gary Clark Jr., St. Vincent featured on upcoming Sheryl Crow album

ABC/Randy Holmes; ABC/Randy HolmesTwo modern guitar heroes are featured on the upcoming Sheryl Crow album, Threads.

Gary Clark Jr. and St. Vincent are among the record’s many guests, and contribute to songs called “Story of Everything” and “Wouldn’t Want to Be Like You,” respectively.

Other collaborators on Threads include Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards, Fleetwood Mac‘s Stevie Nicks, Eric Clapton, Sting, Lucius and rapper/Prophets of Rage vocalist Chuck D.

Threads is due out August 30.

Earlier this year, Clark released his new album This Land. St. Vincent’s most recent effort is 2017’s Grammy-nominated MASSEDUCTION.
