Credit: Matty VogelBlink-182‘s Mark Hoppus and All Time Low‘s Alex Gaskarth have premiered another new song with their new project, Simple Creatures. The track is called “Special,” and is available now for digital download.
“It’s about exploring self-sabotage,” Gaskarth says of “Special.” “And the internal battle we often wage with ourselves when life gets a bit too heavy.”
For his part, Hoppus adds, “I just think the song slaps.”
“Special” follows Simple Creatures’ debut EP Strange Love, which dropped in March. They’ll play a set at the U.K.’s Download Festival this weekend.
Meanwhile, Hoppus will spend most of his summer on tour with Blink. They’re co-headlining run with Lil Wayne kicks off June 27 in Columbus, Ohio.
