Credit: Tyler ShieldsBadflower has premiered the video for “Promise Me,” a track from the band’s debut album, OK, I’m Sick.
The clip, streaming now on YouTube, tells the love story between two people, from childhood to old age.
“The concept of growing old scares the hell out of me,” says frontman Josh Katz. “The thought that I won’t have my youth forever, that things like love and heartbreak might not be as powerful as they once were…This video is very important to me because it confronts those fears.”
“I hope to have the spirit of the characters we’ve created in this video,” he adds. “I hope to stay young at heart no matter what happens throughout the course of my life.”
OK, I’m Sick, which was released in February, also features the singles “Ghost” and “Heroin.”
Badflower will spend their summer opening for Shinedown‘s U.S. tour, which begins June 21 in The Woodlands, Texas.
