Mark Horton/Getty ImagesMarilyn Manson has a new drummer. The Antichrist Superstar has announced that Brandon Pertzborn will man the kit in his band, taking over for the departed Gil Sharone.
Manson confirmed the news on his Twitter with a photo of himself standing next to his new band mate alongside the caption, “Me and my drummer Brandon Pertzborn.”
Pertzborn has previously played drums with Suicidal Tendencies, Black Flag and Corey Taylor. He’ll make his debut with Manson on the shock-rocker’s upcoming co-headlining tour with Rob Zombie, beginning July 9 in Baltimore.
Sharone, who’d been Manson’s drummer for the last five years, announced in March he’d be leaving the band to pursue other projects.
