Credit: Matty VogelBlink-182‘s Mark Hoppus and All Time Low‘s Alex Gaskarth have announced a September 13 release for their second Simple Creatures EP.
Speaking to Rock Sound, the duo said they wanted to drop the new EP on the next “Friday the 13th” that occurs this calendar year, because they’re “spooky like that.” September is the next time the 13th falls on a Friday.
Hoppus also confirmed that Simple Creatures will be touring the U.S. this fall, presumably following Blink’s massive summer co-headlining run with rapper Lil Wayne.
Simple Creatures dropped their debut EP, Strange Love, in March. They just released a new single called “Special” last week.
