Imagine Dragons part of inaugural Metarama gaming and music festival

ABC/Randy HolmesImagine Dragons will be showing off their gaming skills at the inaugural Metarama, a new festival combining the world of video games and esports with music.

Dan Reynolds and company won’t be performing at the event — rather, they’re making a “gaming only” appearance. In doing so, they’ll be raising money for their childhood cancer charity, the Tyler Robinson Foundation.

Among the artists that will be performing at Metarama include Grouplove, Marshmello and Snoop Dogg, among others. The festival will also feature appearances from a number of high-profile video game figures, such as Ninja.

Metarama takes place October 19-20 in Las Vegas. For more info, visit MetaramaFestival.com.

Imagine Dragons previously collaborated with the gaming world when they released the song “Warriors” in 2014 for the League of Legends World Championships. They’ve also invested in esports companies.
