New Blink-182 song “Generational Divide” dropping Friday

ABC/Paula LoboWe’ll have another new Blink-182 song to listen to before the week is over.

The punk trio is dropping a track called “Generational Divide” this Friday, June 21. They revealed the news in a tweet alongside a photo of a potential single cover, which is modeled after an old-school punk show flyer.

“Generational Divide” will follow the previously released single “Blame It on My Youth,” which arrived in May. Both songs are expected to appear on the next Blink-182 record, the follow-up to 2016’s California. A release date or title for upcoming album has yet to be announced.

Bassist/vocalist Mark Hoppus previously teased “Generational Divide” as the song he’s most excited to play on Blink’s upcoming co-headlining tour with Lil Wayne, which launches June 27 in Columbus, Ohio.

You can also watch Blink-182 perform in New York City’s Central Park on Good Morning America‘s Summer Concert Series, airing July 19 on ABC.
