Credit: Martin JausllerSlayer has released a mysterious video teasing the the thrash legends’ “final chapter.”
In the minute-long clip, titled “Coming Fall 2019,” a disembodied, gravely voice speaks somberly about stories and monsters over footage of a man digging a grave.
“To every story, there is a final chapter,” the voice says. “Some monsters can become human. Other monsters reap for revenge. This is the end of the monsters.”
In January 2018, Slayer announced that they’d be embarking on one final world tour, which has been ongoing since May of that year. As for what they could be teasing for this fall, fans are speculating it could be one final, final outing, or possibly even a farewell album.
Slayer already has some tour dates scheduled for the fall, including sets at Chicago’s Riot Fest in September and Tennessee’s Exit 111 in October.
