Shinedown's "MONSTERS" are real and animated in new video

ABC/Randy HolmesShinedown has premiered a second video for “MONSTERS,” the current single from the band’s new album, ATTENTION ATTENTION.

Following the previously released visual, which provided a dramatic, cinematic interpretation of the song, this new clip is more literal, using animation to bring the titular monsters to life. You can watch the new video now via Billboard.com.

“ATTENTION ATTENTION is all about not being afraid to fail and not being afraid period because you’re not going to be defined by your failures, you will be defined by the fact that you refuse to give up,” frontman Brent Smith tells Billboard. “Your monsters may be real, but that doesn’t mean you have to give into them.”

Shinedown’s current summer tour in support of ATTENTION ATTENTION continues Wednesday in Gilford, New Hampshire.
