The Antichrist Superstar is teaming up with the King of Horror.
Marilyn Manson has revealed that he has a role in the upcoming TV adaptation of Stephen King‘s landmark 1978 novel, The Stand. He shared the news in an interview with Revolver, adding that he’s also recorded a cover of “The End” by The Doors for the series.
The Doors cover was recorded in collaboration with country artist Shooter Jennings, who’s also working with Manson on the rocker’s new album.
The Stand will air as a 10-part miniseries on CBS All Access.
Manson, meanwhile, also has a part in HBO’s upcoming The Young Pope follow-up series, The New Pope.
