ABC/Alycia MonacoTravis Barker is putting his spin on “Falling Down,” a posthumous collaboration between late rappers Lil Peep and XXXTentacion.

The Blink-182 drummer has released a remix of the track, adding some “Adam’s Song” drums and pop-punk guitars to the tune. You can download the remix now via digital download.

“XXX and Peep were two of my favorite artists,” says Barker. “Both changed music in their own way.”

“Having the opportunity to put my spin on ‘Falling Down’ was truly an honor,” he continues. “From the first time I heard the song I loved it. The true challenge was how could I manage to make it better…I’m really proud of what came out of that.”

“Falling Down” was originally released September 2018. Lil Peep died November 2017 at age 21 of a drug overdose. XXXTentacion was murdered June 2018 at age 20.

Barker and Blink-182 are currently on tour with Lil Wayne. The joint outing continues Thursday in Bristow, Virginia.
