Greta Van Fleet’s next album will be “something quite different” from debut

Credit: Travis ShinnGreta Van Fleet has been working on a new album, and guitarist Jake Kiszka is sharing some info on how the material will sound in comparison to the group’s 2018 debut, Anthem of the Peaceful Army.

“We’re working on something quite different,” Kiszka tells NME.

“It’s interesting, ’cause we never know exactly what an album’s gonna look like, it can only be so premeditated,” he adds. “But as it sort of unfolds now, it’s an example of where we are musically right now. So it’s definitely much different than Anthem of the Peaceful Army would have been.”

It shouldn’t take too long to hear the new record for yourself, as Greta Van Fleet hopes to release it before the end of the year.

Greta Van Fleet just wrapped a European festival tour. They’ll be back in the U.S. this fall for a headlining run starting September 21 in Kansas City, Missouri.
