Credit: Ross HalfinVolbeat has premiered a new song called “Cheapside Sloggers,” which will appear on the band’s upcoming album Rewind, Replay, Rebound.
The track, available now for digital download, features a guest solo from Slayer and Exodus guitarist Gary Holt.
“I wanted to add something new and not typical, so why not bring in Gary Holt?” says Volbeat frontman Michael Poulsen. “He is a great guitar player, and the solo sounds great.”

Rewind, Replay, Rebound, which also features the single “Last Day Under the Sun,” arrives August 2.
Volbeat will be spending their summer opening for Slipknot‘s U.S. tour, which kicks off July 26 in Mountain View, California.
