Alice in Chains’ William DuVall announces debut solo album, “One Alone”

Dvl RecordingsAlice in Chains vocalist/guitarist William DuVall has announced the details of his first solo album.

The record is titled One Alone, and will arrive October 4. You can download the first single, “‘Til the Light Guides Me Home,” now via digital outlets.

“After all these years, I finally felt the need to peel everything back,” says DuVall, who recorded One Alone with just his voice and an acoustic guitar.

He adds, “This album reveals the very core of who I am as a singer, guitarist, and songwriter.”

DuVall will spend his summer on the road with Alice in Chains as they tour the U.S. alongside Korn. The outing continues Tuesday in Birmingham, Alabama.
