Metallica’s orchestra-accompanied San Francisco shows to screen in theaters

ABC/Randy HolmesIn September, Metallica will play two concerts alongside the San Francisco Symphony at SF’s new Chase Center to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their similarly orchestra-accompanied 1999 S&M live album. If you can’t make the shows, you can still experience them on the big screen.

Both performances will be recorded for an upcoming concert film titled S&M2, which will be screened in theaters worldwide for one night only on October 9.

Tickets to the screenings will go on sale August 7. Stay tuned to Metallica.film for participating theaters.

If you have your heart set on seeing the shows in person, they take place September 6 and 8.
