Twenty One Pilots’ “Stressed Out” and “Heathens” earn new platinum certifications

ABC/Image Group LANews flash: the Twenty One Pilots songs “Stressed Out” and “Heathens” are still very popular.

Both of the duo’s biggest hits have earned new platinum certifications, according to the RIAA. “Heathens” has now been certified seven-times platinum for seven million units sold, while “Stressed Out” has been certified eight-times platinum for eight million units sold.

“Stressed Out” is a single from TOP’s breakout 2015 album Blurryface, while “Heathens” was recorded for the 2016 film Suicide Squad.

Last month, Twenty One Pilots became the first act to have two albums on which every song has been RIAA-certified. The feat was achieved by both Blurryface and 2013’s Vessel.

Twenty One Pilots’ latest album is 2018’s Trench, which features the singles “Jumpsuit,” “My Blood,” “Chlorine” and “The Hype.” The play Lollapalooza and Outside Lands this month, and will launch a North American headlining tour in October.
