Credit: Travis Shinn Killswitch Engage has premiered the video for “I Am Broken Too,” a track off the band’s upcoming album, Atonement.
The emotional clip, streaming now on YouTube, follows a man who’s struggling with alcoholism, drug addiction and thoughts of suicide.
“The video is a reflection of real-life events that loved ones have gone through,” says frontman Jesse Leach. “[Directors] Kyle Cogan and Zack Stauffer did an amazing job of bringing it all to life. The result is a powerful video that captures the essence and desperation of the song.”
A portion of the proceeds from “I Am Broken Too” will be donated to Chicago suicide prevention charity Hope for the Day.
Atonement, the follow-up to 2016’s Incarnate, arrives August 16.
