Outside Lands becomes first major US festival to allow sale of cannabis on grounds

iStock/skodonnellIf you want to feel a little less, ahem, “Stressed Out” while Twenty One Pilots are playing Outside Lands this weekend, then you may be in luck.

The three-day San Francisco event will be the first major U.S. festival to allow the sale and consumption of cannabis products on the grounds.

Attendees who are 21 or older will be able to enter the Grass Lands, a designated area where you can legally purchase and consume recreational cannabis.

The Grass Lands will also offer a variety of marijuana-themed activities and education.

Outside Lands takes place August 9-11 in SF’s Golden Gate Park. The lineup also includes Blink-182, The Lumineers, Childish GambinoPaul Simon, Hozier, Judah & the Lion, The Neighbourhood and Counting Crows.
