With Turntables Wide Open: Creed’s “Human Clay” to be reissued on vinyl for 20th anniversary

Craft RecordingsCreed‘s 1999 album Human Clay is being reissued on vinyl to celebrate its 20th anniversary. The two-LP collection will arrive on October 11.

Human Clay, Creed’s sophomore album, spawned the hit singles “Higher,” “With Arms Open,” “Are You Ready?” and “What If.” It’s since been certified diamond by the RIAA for over 10 million units sold.

Following Human Clay, Creed released two more albums: 2001’s Weathered and 2009’s Full Circle. The band’s been on hiatus since 2012.

In other Creed-related happenings, frontman Scott Stapp just released a new solo album, The Space Between the Shadows, in July.

Meanwhile, guitarist Mark Tremonti, drummer Scott Phillips and bassist Brian Marshall all play in Alter Bridge with Myles Kennedy. They’ll release a new album, Walk the Sky, on October 18.
