Watch Iggy Pop’s video for song “James Bond”

ABC/Randy HolmesIggy Pop has premiered the video for “James Bond,” a track from his upcoming album, Free.

The clip doesn’t feature any footage of 007: Instead, it focuses on the Godfather of Punk as he sings from a dark room. In between, we cut to brief glimpses of back-up vocalist Faith Vern and trumpet player Leron Thomas.

You can watch the “James Bond” video streaming now on YouTube.

Free follows Pop’s 2016 album Post Pop Depression, which was recorded in collaboration with Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme. The new record is due out September 6.
