Rob Zombie pulls fan’s hair after she grabs his shirt across barricade

Joseph Okpako/WireImageRob Zombie was involved in an altercation with a female fan at a recent show in Canada on his tour with Marilyn Manson, and several musicians are defending the “Dragula” shock-rocker.

In video obtained by TMZ, a woman is seen reaching over the barricade and grabbing Zombie’s shirt. The musician reacts angrily, pushing her hand off of him and then pulling her hair as he says something into her ear.

The TMZ headline reads, “Rob Zombie Grabs Female Fan by Hair, Shoves Her During Concert,” which drew criticism from artists including Shinedown guitarist Zach Myers and All That Remains frontman Phil Labonte, who felt that the publication’s characterization of the incident was one-sided.

“If this was a female artist you f***ing t**t monkeys would have a whole different headline,” Myers tweeted. “You p***ks are exactly what’s wrong with media.”

Myers added that a more fitting headline would be “Rob Zombie gets assaulted by female fan…reacts.”

Labonte wrote, “I’ve been literally groped by ‘over zealous fans’ more than once at shows. It’s f***ing gross and it’s not ‘OK’ cause I’m a guy. TMZs framing of this is crap.” Slipknot‘s Corey Taylor retweeted Labonte’s tweet.

Zombie himself has not publicly commented.
