ABC/Randy HolmesTom Morello lends his guitar handiwork to a new song from 5 Seconds of Summer, “Teeth.”
The Rage Against the Machine guitarist can be heard on the outro of the synth-heavy track, which you can download now via digital outlets.
“‘Teeth’ captures the soul of 5 Seconds of Summer and I truly believe it is a unique song to us as a band and doesn’t sound like anything out at the moment,” says 5SoS lead vocalist Luke Hemmings. “It’s my favorite song we’ve released ever and I can’t wait for people to hear it.”
“Teeth” is included on the soundtrack to the third season of the Netflix drama 13 Reasons Why, due out this Friday, August 23. The compilation also includes tracks by K.Flay, Yungblud and JR JR.
Meanwhile, Morello is currently in Europe touring with Prophets of Rage, and he’ll launch a U.S. solo tour in support of his The Atlas Underground album in October. He’s also performing a new stage show for three nights in September at the Minetta Lane Theatre in New York City.
