Back in the studio: The Blue Stones begin work on sophomore album

Credit: Alan Dawe The Blue Stones are back in the studio to begin work on their sophomore album, the follow-up to 2018’s Black Holes.

The Canadian rockers, who broke through in 2018 with their single “Black Holes (Solid Ground),” have been working with producer and MUTEMATH frontman Paul Meany, who co-produced the new Twenty One Pilots album, Trench.

“Working with Paul has always been a dream of ours,” The Blue Stones say. “We’ve been dedicated MUTEMATH fans since the 2000s, and loved his recent work with Twenty One Pilots. Paul’s had a major influence on our sound and play-style from the start, and now we’re teaming up to bring our fans some of our best work yet.”

New Blue Stones music is expected to arrive this fall.
