Panel on thrash metal doc “Murder in the Front Row” to be held at New York Comic Con

ABC/Randy HolmesA discussion panel about Murder in the Front Row, a new documentary about the Bay Area thrash metal scene of the ’80s, will take place at New York Comic Con on October 3.

The panel will include director Adam Dubin, who also directed Metallica‘s “Nothing Else Matters” video and co-directed Beastie Boys‘ “(You Gotta) Fight for Your Right (to Party)” and “No Sleep ’til Brooklyn” videos, as well as Testament guitarist Alex Skolnick and comedian Brian Posehn, who narrates the doc.

Murder in the Front Row includes interviews with a number of metal and thrash legends, including members of Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer and Anthrax. It’ll be screened in theaters across the U.S. throughout the fall.
