ABC/Randy HolmesProphets of Rage have dropped a new song, “Pop Goes the Weapon.”
The latest track from the political rap-rock supergroup protests gun violence, and is accompanied by a video featuring fatality and injury statistics and headlines from shootings in the U.S. in 2019. You can watch it now streaming on YouTube.
“Pop Goes the Weapon” follows the previously released one-off Prophets singles “Made with Hate” and “Heart Afire.” The band’s self-titled debut album dropped in 2017.
Prophets of Rage just finished an international tour, and will play two shows in Los Angeles next week.
