Hell yeah, Hella Mega! Green Day, Weezer & Fall Out Boy tour confirmed; all three bands release new music

Live Nation/Harley-DavidsonThe rumors are true: Green Day, Weezer and Fall Out Boy are hitting the road together.

The three bands have confirmed the details of the Hella Mega tour, set to kick off the summer of 2020. The trek will start out in Europe in June 2020, followed by a North American leg kicking off July 17 in Seattle. It’ll wrap up August 29 in Philadelphia.

A pre-sale for the North American dates begins September 16 at 10 a.m. local time. Tickets will go on sale to the general public September 20 at 10 a.m. local time.

To celebrate the tour announcement, Green Day, Weezer and Fall Out Boy will play the Whisky a Go Go in Los Angeles tonight. Additionally, all three bands will play ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! this week: Weezer plays tonight, Fall Out Boy Wednesday and Green Day Thursday.

But that’s not all. All three bands have also dropped new music.

Green Day has announced a new album called Father of All…, which will be released February 7. The title track is available now for digital download.

Meanwhile, Weezer’s Van Weezer, a new, more guitar-focused album, will arrive May 15. You can download the opening song “The End of the Game” now.

Finally, Fall Out Boy will drop a new greatest hits collection, titled Believes Never Die — Volume Two, on November 15. The compilation also features a new song called “Dear Future Self,” featuring Wyclef Jean, which is out now.
