The SoCal punks are playing a concert inside the World of Tanks MMO video game. Players will be able experience the virtual show starting September 18.
“The game has never seen anything like this before, so we’re excited to be the first!” The Offspring says.
Last month, Korn played a virtual concert inside the AdventureQuest 3D and AQWorlds games.
You can catch The Offspring live and in person on tour throughout the fall, including a Canadian trek with Sum 41 in November.
Meanwhile, The Offspring has been working on a new album, the follow-up to 2012’s Days Go By. In July, the band said the were “putting the finishing touches” on the upcoming record.
