Killswitch Engage's Jesse Leach teases new music with hardcore project The Weapon

ABC RadioKillswitch Engage frontman Jesse Leach is teasing new music with his new hardcore punk project, The Weapon.

“Angry, fast, socially aware, hardcore punk? Yeah we got that!” Leach writes in an Instagram post. “We are a few weeks away from completing all of the tracking for our first official release!”

Earlier this year, The Weapon dropped two demos — “At What Cost” and “Shotgun Anarchy” — which you can listen to via the band’s Bandcamp page.

“This band is the real deal and will definitely scratch your itch if you dig fist raising protest anthems!” Leach says.

Meanwhile, you can hear Leach on the new Killswitch album, Atonement. He’s also set to appear on an upcoming solo record from Hatebreed frontman Jamey Jasta.
