Watch Foo Fighters jam with Scott Ian’s eight-year-old son

ABC/Travis BellFoo Fighters‘ set at last weekend’s Bourbon & Beyond festival featured a pint-sized guest with a big rock heritage.

For their performance of “Everlong,” the Foos invited Anthrax guitarist Scott Ian‘s eight-year-old son Revel to come on stage to play guitar with them. In addition to rocking the track’s iconic riff, Revel also flashed the most adorable pair of devil horns.

The proud metal papa posted a video of the performance on Instagram Tuesday night.

“Proudest dad moment ever?” Ian wrote in the caption. “How about when your son gets to join his favorite band on stage to play ‘Everlong’ in front of 40,000 people and NAILS IT!”

While Revel is certainly following his father’s footsteps, it may take a bit for him to grow Ian’s signature beard.

Foo Fighters are now headed to Brazil this weekend to play Rock in Rio. They’re back in the U.S. in December to play the Intersect festival in Las Vegas.
