Greta Van Fleet teases “quite interesting” and “exciting” new material

Credit: Travis ShinnGreta Van Fleet has been in the studio working on a new album, and guitarist Jake Kiszka has shared an update on the direction of the fresh material.

"We've had about a month off of the road and we've spent it recording and seeing what would happen," Kiszka tells the Orange County Register. "We didn't come in with any predisposed ideas of what would come of it, but we had a variety of different songs and things, so we knew what we wanted to accomplish.

"What came out of all of it was quite interesting and that makes it exciting," he adds.

The new stuff will follow Greta's debut album, 2018's Anthem of the Peaceful Army. The group has just dropped a new single called "Always There," which was recorded for the upcoming film A Million Little Pieces, earlier this month.

In the meantime, Greta Van Fleet is currently on a U.S. tour, which continues Friday in Las Vegas.
