New Pierce the Veil album is “getting closer and closer each day,” says frontman

Jeff Hahne/Getty ImagesPierce the Veil frontman Vic Fuentes has evidently gotten some inspiration from a recent road trip and a change of scenery.

On Instagram, he writes, “Felt the urge to get away and go somewhere that inspires me so I packed my truck with my recording gear and drove from San Diego to Seattle.”

“Been living up here for a few weeks writing songs and going to shows,” he continues. “I am happy and excited for the next chapter and to be playing music on stage with my brothers again. Album #5 is getting closer and closer each day and we can’t f****** wait.”

In July, the singer said PtV was “on the beautifully unpredictable journey to album five.”

The new album, when it arrives, will be the follow-up to Pierce the Veil’s 2016 album Misadventures, which spawned the single “Circles.”

In August, Fuentes became the CEO and co-chairman of Living the Dream Foundation, a charity that helps make the dreams of children and young adults with terminal or life-threatening illnesses come true.
