Over the weekend at the Rock in Rio Festival in Brazil, Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl admitted he misses playing Nirvana songs…after another band on the bill performed one of Nirvana’s songs.

In fan footage you can watch on YouTube, Weezer performed the Nevermind classic  “Lithium” before Foo Fighters took the stage.   You can also watch footage of Foo Fighters performing “Big Me,” which Grohl dedicated to Weezer to thank them for the song.

“This one goes out to Weezer,” Grohl told the cheering crowd. “I was backstage and I heard Weezer play the ‘Lithium’ song. I gotta be honest. I cried a little bit. I did! I miss playing that song. I miss it!  So I’m happy to hear Weezer play that.”

According to Billboard, Grohl also told the crowd that Foo Fighters are about to go into the studio to start work on the follow-up to their 2017 release Concrete and Gold.
