The MTV VMAs took place in August, but now it’s time for the MTV EMAs — the MTV European Music Awards. Billie Eilish is among the top nominees, with six nods overall, but twenty one pilots, Green Day, Imagine Dragons, and Lana Del Rey have all scored nods as well.
Eilish’s nominations include Best Video and Best Song for “bad guy,” as well as Best New Artist, Biggest Fans, Best Push, and Best U.S. Act.
Green Day and Imagine Dragons will compete with Panic! At the Disco, The 1975, and Liam Gallagher in the Best Rock category, while Lana Del Rey, twenty one pilots, Vampire Weekend, FKA Twigs, and Solange are nominated for Best Alternative.
The 1975 and twenty one pilots are also nominated for Best World Stage, both for their performances at Lollapalooza Paris. Muse is also in that category, for a show they did in Bilbao, Spain last year.
The 2019 MTV EMAs take place November 3 in Seville, Spain and will air live on MTV at 9 p.m. Central European Time. You can vote online now at MTVEMA.com until midnight on November 2.
