After celebrating Smashing Pumpkins' 30th anniversary with a new album and a tour, Billy Corgan is ready for some alone time.
Corgan's announced via Twitter that he's launching a brief solo tour in November, hitting "select U.S. cities," and playing songs from across his entire career, including tracks from the Pumpkins and Zwan catalogues, and solo material.
The tour kicks off November 4, 5 and 6 with three shows in Los Angeles, and is scheduled to wrap up November 18, 19 and 20 with two shows in New York City. Tickets go on sale this Friday, October 4 at 10 a.m. local time via WPCcodex.com.
As previously reported, Corgan also contributed to Third Eye Blind's new album Screamer, due October 18. He's credited as the album's "musical consigliere."
