Record Store Day Black Friday releases include Pearl Jam, Slipknot, Arcade Fire & more

Courtesy of Record Store DayThe list of releases for 2019’s Record Store Day Black Friday has been revealed. Here are a few selections that will be available exclusively in independent record stores on November 29:

Pearl Jam‘s 1992 MTV Unplugged performance will be released on vinyl for the first time for RSD Black Friday.

Slipknot is releasing a special seven-inch picture disc featuring “Unsainted,” the lead single off the band’s new album, We Are Not Your Kind, as well as the non-album single “All Out Life.”

Arcade Fire is contributing a seven-inch single featuring “Neighborhood #1 (Tunnels),” the lead track off the band’s 2004 debut album, Funeral. The B-side is a version of the standard “My Buddy” recorded by jazz musician Alvino Rey, who’s the grandfather of Arcade Fire’s Win and Will Butler.

Tenacious D‘s rumored collaboration with Jack White will be available for RSD Black Friday. The seven-inch single includes two songs, “Don’t Blow It” and “Kage,” which were produced by White.

Additionally, the soundtrack to 2003’s Matrix Reloaded, which features songs by Linkin Park, Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie, Rage Against the Machine, P.O.D. and Deftones, will make its vinyl debut on RSD Black Friday.

Other artists releasing vinyl for Record Store Day Black Friday include Alice Cooper, Dio, Sammy Hagar, Jimi Hendrix, Kings of Leon, Geddy Lee, U2, Black Label Society, Liam Gallagher, Life of Agony, Dave Matthews Band, Phish, The Regrettes, Saint Motel, and Sublime.
