The Pretty Reckless recruits Soundgarden’s Matt Cameron for next album

Jeff Kravitz/FilmMagicThe Pretty Reckless has enlisted a grunge luminary for the band’s next album.

In an Instagram post, frontwoman Taylor Momsen reveals that she’s working with Soundgarden and Pearl Jam drummer Matt Cameron on the upcoming fourth Pretty Reckless record.

“Wait til you hear this…the incomparable @TheMattCameron,” she writes in the caption, alongside a photo of her and the drummer together at Seattle’s London Bridge Studio.

Momsen is a big Soundgarden fan, and performed at the star-studded Chris Cornell tribute earlier this year. The Pretty Reckless also opened for Soundgarden the night before Cornell died in May 2017.

The Pretty Reckless’ most recent album is 2016’s Who You Selling For, which features the singles “Take Me Down” and “Oh My God.”
