Loma Vista RecordingsIn an unexpected concert booking, Marilyn Manson will be playing rapper Travis Scott‘s 2019 Astroworld festival.
Joining the Antichrist Superstar on the bill are artists including Pharrell Williams, Migos, Young Thug, Megan Thee Stallion and Gucci Mane.
While Manson is the lone rocker on the lineup, a number of the other artists playing have connections to the rock world. For example, Young Thug is featured on the new Highly Suspect album MCID, and Megan Thee Stallion just played the Dia de los Deftones festival. Additionally, you can hear Scott on “Take What You Want,” Ozzy Osbourne‘s collaborative song with Post Malone.
Astroworld takes place this Saturday, November 9 in Scott’s hometown of Houston, Texas. The event is already sold out.
Manson, meanwhile, has been working on a new album, the follow-up to 2017’s Heaven Upside Down.
