Listen to new grandson song, “Happy Pill”

Fueled By Ramen Grandson has dropped a new single, “Happy Pill.”

The track, available now via digital outlets, was recorded in collaboration with alt-pop duo Moby Rich.

“I first met Maxwell and Connor from Moby Rich and it was an immediate connection,” grandson says. “We all come from an alternative music background writing emotional and angry songs. I’ve always respected the music they’ve put out and was pumped that the timing worked out to be able to collaborate on this.”

“‘Happy Pill’ is about the desire to be sedated,” he continues. “It’s about searching for a quick fix for your problems; it’s about the object of your desire slowly taking over your life, turning you into a more explosive, reactive version of yourself, and I cannot wait for the world to hear it.”

“Happy Pill” follows grandson’s A Modern Tragedy, Vol. 3 EP, which was released in September.
