The prog-rockers have announced the inaugural S.S. Neverender, a four-day sea journey named after a track off their 2002 debut album, The Second Stage Turbine Blade. It sets sail October 26, 2020 in Miami and will travel to the Bahamas before returning October 30.

“We’re always trying to find ways to improve the fan experience,” says guitarist Travis Stever. “Our fans like to travel, they like to meet other fans, we’re like a big family. So the idea of a cruise seemed like a way to allow a bunch of us to just go on vacation together.”

On the cruise, Coheed will perform a set of rare early songs and deep cuts. Additionally, the ship will include onboard installations related to the band’s Amory Wars concept.

Last month, Coheed canceled their 2019 tour dates due to drummer Josh Eppard needing to undergo a cardiac procedure. Eppard has since had the operation and is now recovering.
