We Came As Romans to embark on 10th anniversary ‘To Plant a Seed’ tour

Courtesy SharpTone RecordsWe Came As Romans has announced a headlining tour to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the group’s 2009 debut album, To Plant a Seed.

The 2020 outing launches March 5 in Chicago, and will conclude April 11 in Pontiac, Michigan. Tickets go on sale this Friday, November 22 at 10 a.m. local time via WCARMusic.com.

“Being able to watch our fans connect with us through music over the last decade has been an amazing privilege, and it all started with To Plant a Seed,” says guitarist Joshua Moore.

“Way back in 2009 when we recorded it, we had no idea where it would take us or what we were really even doing,” he continues. “It’s awesome to see that we can play these songs still, and feel that connection with you.”

We Came As Romans has since released four more albums, the most recent of which being 2017’s Cold Like War. Another record is currently in the works, which will be the group’s first following vocalist Kyle Pavone‘s death in August 2018.

In September, Romans dropped two new songs, “Carry the Weight” and “From the First Note,” which were both about the loss of Pavone.
