Credit: Travis Shinn Killswitch Engage frontmen will reunite on the road next spring.
Light the Torch, led by former KsE singer Howard Jones, will open for the Massachusetts metallers on their upcoming spring tour.
“We are excited to bring out Light the Torch, first of all, because they are a killer band,” says current Killswitch vocalist Jesse Leach. “Obviously, having Howard out with us allows us to make this a tour to remember.”
“I’ve always respected Howard as a singer, but in recent years, he’s become a friend,” Leach adds. “So it means more to me now than it would have in the past.”
Jones is featured on the Killswitch Engage song “The Signal Fire,” which is included on the band’s new album, Atonement. Chances are he’ll join them on stage to perform it live on the tour, as well.
Killswitch’s spring tour, which will also feature support from August Burns Red, kicks off March 10 in Cleveland, Ohio.
