Original Bulletboys lineup reuniting for 2020 tour

Warner RecordsBulletboys are back.

The original lineup of the heavy metal group — vocalist Marq Torien, guitarist Mick Sweda, bassist Lonnie Vencent and drummer Jimmy D’Anda — is reuniting for a 2020 tour. Aside from a one-off show in 2011, the quartet hasn’t shared the stage together since 1993.

“I would never have guessed this reunion would have come about, but the world seems to have its own plan filled with peace, love and kindness,” says Sweda. “And lots of a** kicking!”

Bulletboys — known for their 1989 single “Smooth Up in Ya,” as well as covers of Tom Waits‘ “Hang on St. Christopher” and The O’Jays‘ “For the Love of Money” — will make their official live return December 30 at the Whisky a Go Go in Los Angeles. They’ll embark on a tour of 50-plus shows in 2020, the details of which will be announced soon.
