Look out for new albums by Green Day, Ozzy Osbourne & more in 2020

ABC/Image Group LAIt’s a new year — and a new decade! — which means more new music. Here are some of biggest confirmed — and expected — albums from the rock world arriving in 2020:

Ozzy Osbourne is dropping his new album Ordinary Man, his first solo effort since 2010’s Scream, in early 2020. The record, which was recorded in collaboration with Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith and Guns N’ Roses bassist Duff McKagan, includes the singles “Under the Graveyard” and “Straight to Hell.”

In January, look out for Breaking Benjamin‘s Aurora, featuring reworked and stripped-down versions of songs from throughout the band’s discography, as well as Theory of a Deadman‘s new album Say Nothing.

Green Day will return with their new album Father of All..., the follow-up to 2016’s Revolution Radio, on February 7. The second month of the year will also see the release of Stone Temple Pilots‘ acoustic album Perdida, The 1975‘s Notes on a Conditional Form, Five Finger Death Punch‘s F8 and Tame Impala‘s The Slow Rush.

Heading into the spring, Weezer‘s Van Weezer, The Airborne Toxic Event‘s Hollywood Park and Static X‘s Project Regeneration, the latter featuring unreleased vocal tracks and compositions left behind by the late Wayne Static, all drop in May.

You can also look forward to a new Killers album called Imploding the Mirage, due out in the spring of 2020.

Meanwhile, a number of artists are expected to release new music in 2020, though nothing’s been officially confirmed. Those artists include Red Hot Chili Peppers, who just welcomed guitarist John Frusciante back into the fold, as well as Pearl Jam, The OffspringThe Cure, Greta Van Fleet, Angels & Airwaves, DeftonesMegadeth and Evanescence.
