Credit: Kane Hibberd Parkway Drive is setting up a fundraiser to assist with the wildfire relief efforts in the band’s home country of Australia.
The metal group, which hails from Byron Bay, New South Wales in Australia, is launching the pledge drive with a donation of $50,000 Australian dollars, or about $34,000 USD.
“We…encourage our fans and metal fans alike to donate what they can, however large or small of an amount, it will all help!” the band says. “Thank you immensely for supporting these causes in these extreme circumstances.”
Proceeds will be donated to the Australian Red Cross, and the wildlife rescue organization WIRES.
