Credit: Dan Winters When Kaleo promised “New year, new music” to kick off 2020, they weren’t lying.
The Icelandic rockers have premiered two new songs, the acoustic-driven “I Want More” and the bluesy rocker “Break My Baby.” Both tunes are available now via digital outlets.
“The songs cry out for a certain sound and then I have to go and serve the song,” says frontman JJ Julius Son. “It was really special to create this music while traveling the world.”
“I Want More” and “Break My Baby” follow Kaleo’s 2016 album A/B, which spawned the singles “Way Down We Go,” “No Good” and “All the Pretty Girls.” A new record is forthcoming.
